Terms and Conditions/Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking ‘Santa’s Underground Grotto’ at Arigna Mining Experience. It is important that you and your guests take the time to read the information below, as by purchasing/presenting tickets for this event, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of Arigna Energy Valley Company.

Ticket Sales/Purchase Policy:

• Once tickets are purchased, the booking is non-refundable unless government guidelines restrict us from opening, in which instance tickets will be refunded in full excluding the booking fee.
• Our tickets are sold on the following basis: children up to 2 years of age (Baby), from 2 years of age to 12 years of age (Child), from 12 years, adults, or carers (Adult)
• Tickets can be purchased online, in advance only. No walk-up ticket sales will be available.
• A booking fee will be applied to ticket prices and is non-refundable in any circumstance.
• All visitors, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
• Please make note of the time and date you are booked in for. Transferring tickets to a different time/date is only permitted in exceptional cases and is subject to availability.
• All visitors need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to allocated time slot. This helps keep queuing to a minimum and ensures that visitors are seen within their time slot.

Injury/loss:

• Parents must supervise/accompany children under the age of 18 at all times
• Arigna Mining Experience and Arigna Valley Energy Company will not accept responsibility for personal injury, or loss or damage to personal belongings while visiting ‘Santa’s Underground Grotto.’
• If you would like to participate in the complimentary optional facepainting offered, Arigna Mining Experience/Arigna Energy Valley Company is not responsible for any injury or allergic reaction resulting from contact with face paints.
• You will be required to adhere with all instructions from Arigna Mining Experience staff, including applicable health and safety rules, requirements, and regulations.
• No liability shall be accepted by Arigna Mining Experience/Arigna Valley Energy Company for any loss or damage howsoever caused in any circumstances to vehicles, including contents, or injury to persons in car park. All property is left entirely at owners risk.  

Photos:

• Any photos and videos taken on the premises are to be for non-commercial use only.
• We do not supervise the taking of photography/recordings by other customers at ‘Santa’s Underground Grotto’ and so we cannot be responsible if you or any of your party (including any child or infant) is featured in any other visitor’s photograph or recording which is subsequently published or distributed in any form.
• You should be aware that we do take photos and make video recordings while you are at ‘Santa’s Underground Grotto.’ We sometimes use certain images for promotional purposes. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that Arigna Mining Experience or any authorized party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. If you do not wish to be recorded or filmed, please make this known to staff at the location on arrival.

Food/Beverage/Pets:

• No outside food or beverages is permitted. Only food and beverages purchased on the property is to be consumed. This excludes personal water bottles.
• No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
• No pets or animals other than registered service animals are permitted on the premises.

General:

• Our staff reserve the right to refuse entry to individuals to ‘Santa’s Underground Grotto’, or remove those who have already been admitted, if in their reasonable opinion, the presence of those individuals is likely to create any health and safety or security concerns or considerably lower the enjoyment of other guests.
• Arigna Mining Experience reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety or maintenance reasons or otherwise, to cancel the event with or without prior notice. In such circumstances a refund, excluding booking fee, will be given.
• These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Irish Law and any claim brough under these conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish law.
